In this project, we had a guest speaker who introduced his hometown, Senegal, and his European experience. Senegal is a country where 95% of people are Muslims, so I linked my country, China, with Senegal through Islam. Islam is born in the Middle East, but nowadays, this same culture is rooted in Senegal and China. I decided to find how Islam spread in history. My project will focus on the elements we can find on the map: the lines, the routes, and different irregular shapes representing different regions.
